As things go from strength to strength at Lucidity Digital HQ, we are delighted to announce that we’re back in the recruitment game. In August 2011, we established our Social Media Department. In December the department had grown enough to take on an intern, and now we’re looking for another!

We have an opening for the position of Social Media Assistant/Copywriter, which will be an internship position with a view to a permanent role in the company. The internship is registered with the JobBridge scheme, which you can find more information on here. The position can also be transferred to the FAS Work Placement Programme if a candidate does not meet the requirements of the JobBridge scheme.

The Role

The idea of an internship is for the successful applicant to learn from the position and increase their personal skillsets. In Lucidity, the successful applicant can expect to join a young, vibrant company with a flair for new media and social engagement. As well as promoting Lucidity, the role will also involve management of social media channels for our clients, writing blogs and engaging with customers. The successful applicant will learn copywriting, the principles of using social media for business and gain experience working in a forward-thinking and modern office environment.

There is no particular level of experience required for this position. Applicants will ideally have some experience in writing and using social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, but this is not essential. All that we ask is that you are fun, assertive, willing to learn and have some level of savvy when it comes to the web.  Integral to the role is coming up with new ideas and ways of promoting Lucidity and our clients.
